Locality and places of interest



Llucmajor is the most extensive municipality of the island of Majorca within the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. It belongs to the region of Migjorn and is to be found at only a 25 minutes distance from the capital, Palma, and 20 minutes from the airport. It has several first class touristic centres such as Cala Pi, Cala Blava and El Arenal. Llucmajor was always well-known for its stock farming and agriculture. The municipality is also an important industrial centre for shoes, sausages, liqueur and outstanding craftsmanship of stone.
