The most important fairs and markets not far from your property in Mallorca

A fundamental element of any visit to Mallorca is to take a stroll through and visit one of the many markets that this island has to offer. From 9:00 to 13:00, any day of the week, one can always find an open market, you have no excuse. Our team at Nova Mallorca will be giving you a list of the best markets to visit during your stay.

The best local products at the markets

From the best local produce to shoes and handmade jewellery, one can get lost among the multitude of products that can be found in a Mallorcan market. The most important one we believe is in Pollensa, which is open on Sundays. Although the one in Sineu is also very popular and is open on Wednesdays. Another market to visit is in Artá which is open on Tuesdays and is probably the most complete and interesting market in all the northeast of Mallorca.

Artisan markets in Mallorca

Amongst the multitude of stalls that make up the markets we will find handicrafts, top quality ceramics, very unique decorative products, handmade jewellery, leather bags, shoes, clothes and of course, the best local produce. In the markets one can find the best quality fruit and vegetable, fish and seafood. Artisan products such as soaps, salts, olive oils, candles or honey are also sold. The best of our culinary and artisan culture.

If all of this isn’t enough, the town of Consell is host to one of the largest flea markets in Mallorca, where you will probably come home with a few surprise items.
