Paseo Marítimo – Palma de Mallorca
1. Outstanding Features
It is considered to be like a balcony over the Mediterranean, the Paseo Marítimo of Palma is a wide street about four kilometres in length parallel to the sea, first it runs by the fishing port and then alongside the commercial port to finish in the military area of the port. Along the length of this promenade, there are the most luxurious and elegant hotels of the island, the most vanguard discoteques and nightclubs of Palma, some of which have been built reforming a characteristic windmill. From the Paseo Marítimo it is possible to admire many of the most emblematic buildings of Palma such as the Catedral, the Almudaina and the Bellver Castle.

4. Aquatic Activities
The Bay of Palma is one of the best geographic enclaves of all Europe for the practice of sailing, without forgetting the other water sports. For this reason, in this enclave there are a variety of marine sports clubs of which some of the most outstanding are Real Club Náutico de Palma, Escuela de vela Calanova and Club Náutico de Portitxol.
5. Golf Courses
The Club de Golf Son Vida and Son Gual, have excellent installations for club members and for sporading visitors, and are the ideal place to enjoy playing this noble sport.
The words Paseo Marítimo have a special charm, almost magical for the Mallorcan people. This engineering work of art was taken from the sea in the middle of the last century and today it is a very popular place at the height of its fame. Its bars, shops, restaurants ,commercial port, hotels and marine sports club show what our Mediterranean style of life is like.
